How To Handle Exhibits – TALK
(Pupils & General ALE Programme)

Speakers: Giles Surman

Date: Monday 15 June 2015

Time: 5.30 – 7.00 p.m.

Venue: Courtroom, TBA, High Court Building

ALE Points: 1 General Point

Dress Code: Business Suits

This will be a practical and very useful ‘hands on’ talk in which Giles will not only talk on the handling of exhibits, but will also demonstrate how to do it properly. He will do so by recreating a case scenario in which it is necessary to produce an exhibit in an actual courtroom setting and by using actual exhibits which will include not only the usual medical and expert reports but also more uncommon artifacts. By the end of this demonstration, you should have a better understanding of how to introduce different types of exhibits into evidence in a professional manner.
